I'm not suggesting that people don't send their feature requests direct to Akai, but it's also pretty obvious that they read this forum and all other social media sites.

The advantage of posting here is that it will typically be followed up with additional input from other forum members, hence the idea can be expanded upon and instant community feedback received (just like the subscription idea someone posts a few weeks ago...). Akai don't get that in a closed, one-2-one support ticket. So there's room for both and I definitely don't think it 'falls on deaf ears' by being posted here.

There’s def been several times lots of complaining has resulted in a point update that resolved the issue. The biggest one I can remember, what was it, 2.8 (mpc) had heavy crashes and people enmass were up in arms about it. Update came quick.

More recently, the 2.10 crashing and stability issue. An update came quickly for that when lots of people, immediately after updating, complained, including me. It was the second time I actually had to revert in order to stay operational on MPC X.

This is why I took the time to make these series of threads:
How Could the MPC Sequencer be improved?
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=216030

What basic & advanced sampler features should Akai add next?
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=216022

What New Synth Or Synth Ideas Should Akai Add Next?
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=216021

What Vintage Synth Emulations Should Akai Add Next?
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=216020

The main feature thread was too all over the place. So IMO, having threads divided by sections of the MPC helps to make it easier for red ninja spies to retrieve our requests & do something with it. Let's help them help us!

It should've had a comma after 'No' in order to be grammatically correct. :)

I'm still trying to find time to even learn my mpc! I keep coming across new videos and stuff on this forum that amazes me how much these things are capable of! Loved the video on drum fx, thanks for posting that.

I like to think these companies care enough about their products popularity to stay informed about people's opinions of them. Just makes good business sense really.

Yeah a comma would helped, but this is old news.

When it comes to learning the MPC or any device, just take 1 bar at a time. Yeah that Drum FX demo was really good & so is all his MPC videos.

I'm pretty the the Mysterious Red Ninja got their spies taking note of our opinions
