Can't play 0 Coast With MPC One Pads

Hi all,

I've connected midi out on the MPC One to midi in on the 0 Coast. I can send notes from the MPC sequencer to the 0 Coast, but when I try to play the 0 Coast with the MPC pads, there's no sound. Seems the 0 Coast is receiving midi from the sequencer but not the pads. Also, when I record notes into the sequencer from the pads, the 0 Coast plays the same note, no matter what pad I play.

Anyone know what the problem might be here?

Have you tried using the cv outs? It might give you a more consistent experience.

Did you create a MIDI track for that? What‘s your monitor settings there (set to e.g. ‚IN‘)?

I just found out the problem, stupid really. I was in Step Sequence mode and it doesn't work in that mode, but as soon as I leave that mode it works. Thanks so much for both of your replies and sorry it took me so long to reply. I posted this the day before I went traveling, which is also why I made this mistake, was quite busy and a bit stressed.
