MPC Live II - Wi-Fi Greyed out -

Just traded lot of stuff to finally buy a used mpc live ii at guitar center - no issues updating firmware this morning.

However - when I went to switch to "Activate plugins" - I got the previous users info - contacted Akai Support and was able to switch over the license in my account.

Now - I cannot get wi-fi working properly - Is this a bad unit? I'm still within warranty period with retailer so I could return it. But would rather not.

Should I downgrade firmware to get this wi-fi to work? I was reading elsewhere this could help

Try Resetting your Preferences....see if that helps

@40Beatz - Did not help with pref reset, I failed to mention that.

Troubleshooting further with akai and downgrading firmware we diagnosed it as hardware failure. Was still able to return defective unit.

Akai wouldnt open a case on it because it was used

Nah it was a bug in one of the updates. Same thing happened to me and many other users. Rolling back to a very early firmware and then reinstalling the latest update fixed the issue. This is totally a software issue that they've obviously never managed to track down. I personally had the issue on 2 different devices.
