Reprogramming path of browser icons?

Hey! Is there a way to reprogram path of browser icons? For example I would direct it to my SSD key group and drum kit folders. I tried loading my xpms into internal drive, but then it's really hard to update them with new programs and whatnot, so I'd rather just point browser's shortcuts to my xpms and be done with it.

Also my experiments with internal sd card has left me without 'recent' screen :Sigh: Is there a way to repair it and also to customize it? Like loading some of my templates and stuff. Right now I make use of 5 custom folders, but I could've make it even more tidy and custom.

Biggest mistake you’ve made imo is messing around with the internal drive.
Attach a thumb/external/extra ssd and only use that. Ignore the default internal drive.

Maybe you could send me files needed to get back 'recent' menu? I use live mk1.
And yeah, don't mess w internal drive

Did you try to configure the RECENT screen in hardware preferences?

Sure. I get to blank project no matter what. I tried to put back *.json file, even tried editing it somehow with XML editor. It didn't seem to work properly, because I took out default SD card and changed it from 8GB to 16GB. I though I could have more use out of internal drive, but honestly I hardly use it, since everything is on my 1TB SSD.

The default drive holds your OS and has a finicky file structure that shouldn’t be messed with.

Contact Akai for a restore image and use that image on your bigger sd card.

After that LEAVE IT ALONE

and only use your external drives.

Is there a chance you can provide some info of the structure? So I could repair and reprogram actual icons?

Yeah, going thru whole ordeal of support ticket etc. I really wanted to get more insight into MPC's internal structure, ways to customize it, etc. Hence created this thread

Find custom firmware from somewhere.

Or.

Go to Akai for the official restoration file.

Done.
