IPAD as sound module with Iconnect Midi

Hey, i pretty much gave up on the Keygroup thing on the MPC One. Sampled all kinds of high quality Soundsources (Keyscape, Kontakt Libraries....) but that annoying slow loading time, the midi note off bug, the million samples within a key group and the limited ram.... sucks.

So i decided to use the IPAD as an sound module and do the drums and sequencing on the MPC.
Part of my workflow is SCALER2 on IOS.

To my question: is the Iconnect Midi 2 working with the MPC?
Pretty old device that's why i asking.
