Do I need a DI box to use an MPC One on stage?

Or will a TRS to XLR to the FOH stage box be suitable?

DI is the better route and will result in a clearer and stronger signal, as it ensures everything hits the board at a proper +4 level. You can use just cabling conversion, but the signal can be weaker in some cases.

Got it, that makes sense. I have been using a stereo DI but I'm trying to pare down all the gear I take with me. I'll keep it around.

The MPC outputs are balanced, therefore no need for a DI.

The outputs hit at +9dBu already, Absolutely no need for a DI box.
