Audio over USB Tascam 12

Ive noticed recently Audio over usb doesn’t sound as good compared to the audio outs on the mpc. Sounds also don’t pan from left to right doesn’t matter if the sound is mono/stereo. I’m switching back to using audio cables besides you can hear each instrument/sound clearer and the music has more depth. Am I right in this?

Depends on the converters in your interface. There are many different opinions on this topic, but I really like the sound of the converters in the MPC, especially compared to other grooveboxes. But it is all subjective..

There should be plenty of Tascam Model 12 users here to confirm for you.... I'm interested, since I've been eyes the Model 24 version.
