Just wanted to update you guys and give Akai props, thanks to all that tried to help you guys were incredible.
At the end of the day after six months akai let me send it back and they couldn't find anything wrong?!?! I never could load any of my paid plug in's. After a month of that they agreed to send me a different b-stock unit and like magic it worked as soon as I turned it on.. so it was definitely nothing I was doing wrong and something in the machine. So after seven months I can finally use my se and it is working perfectly! Akai actually came through and I'm very thankful I'm not left with a $2000 doorstop. I couldn't sell it on Reverb because who knows if it would work for the new buyer or not? I'm not gonna screw over some innocent excited new owner..
Anyway nightmare over and averted!! Thanks again for all those that really tried to help me so much, especially lampdog, your the guy!! Many others really tried to help me too and I'm very thankful for this community.
