How do I play sounds "from" MPC Key37 "into" Logic Pro 11

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to play the sounds that come in the Key 37 in Logic Pro 11. There aren't any videos on YouTube on how to do it. I've seen one video on how to put it in "Controller Mode" or Multi Output but that's it. :Sigh:

@83dude I did that & it doesn’t work. Like last night: Connect the USB to the Mac, Turn it On & select Standalone, Open Logic, Create New Track, select Software Instrument, select MPC, Enter, press on the Keys & No Sound in Logic.. I was trying to play “Bassline” from the Key37 Instruments

What do you mean by "play"? Do you expect Logic MIDI tracks to sequence the MPC 37 sounds via MIDI USB or MIDI DIN I/O? Be precise.



What I asked is very precise and detailed on each step, look at my comment above... The MPC Key37 "comes with sounds in it", how do I play those sounds "IN Logic and not the MPC App"

2 ways to get Key37 midi into Logic.

It’s MANDATORY your Key37, usb 3.0, controller mode, connect to mpc software. Mpc software connects to Logic via a track assignment/vst.

Alternatively, you can use 5pin din midi cables into computer/interface/midi din to usb adapter and run it that way, bypassing the mpc software, therefore, standalone into Logic.

Ok, now that makes more sense how you explained it. I'll try that out later tonight and get back to you with my update. Thank you
