EDIT: ok sorry figured it out. Multi Process Threads by default was set to 128. When i lowered it everything worked as expected.
I am going crazy trying to figure this out.
I've been a Ren user since the beginning of time and have been using the mpc 2.0 desktop software no problems. I stopped using it a year or two ago when my Ren stopped working.
Just bought the new Key 37, have the latest mpc dekstop software 2.14.0, same on the Key 37, latest firmware, UAD arrow is completely up to date, my OSX running Sonoma 14.5. Ive also tried uninstalling/reinstallikng the mpc desktop software and rescanning all my software plugins.
Standalone the Key 37 works fine, my issue comes with the MPC desktop software. If i load up any software instrument there is no sound. I can see the midi notes are registering on the software but nothing is happening. The same issue is happening even if the mpc is turned off so i think its nothing to do with the Key 37 and specifically a desktop software issue. Its the same issue with the mpc and 3rd party instruments. I have also found that everything is working perfectly fine in Logic Pro.
The other strange thing is that even when im tapping out choppped up samples while the software is playing, the sound will just totally stop and i have to press stop on the session then press play again to get sound happening again.
Its just weird it feels like some sort of buggy issue, does anyone know what im talking about? I'm hoping i'm just missing something blatantly obvious here and i dont have to wipe my mac entirely and reinstall everything.
