Virtual audio interface software to trick MPC into

Just tried it again on the off chance MPC 3.0 Beta would do Audio over USB but naah....

Maybe when BETA is over and the desktop software catches up AND IS MASSIVELY IMPROVED, SIMPLIFIED or even scrapped altogether we will get what we need.

Well happy with the work Akai have been doing with the MPC in general... Fair Play!!
But we do need audio over USB please.

You mean that the MPC acts as a USB audio device while in standalone mode?

Old post I know but on my renaissance running the pc software I'd just use reaper and set reroute as my audio interface in mpc software. 32 tracks straight to reaper without having to run as a Vsti

Hmm please explain.. you set reroute in the mpc software? Are you running your daw and the mpc software separately.. I missing something.. I dont use reaper i use cubase as my daw of choice

No sorry that is not what I mean.

I want to run my MPC in standalone and send multiple channels of audio over USB to my DAW without running the MPC VST.

Why do I want to do this you might ask.

A: Because I find the MPC desktop & VST software less than brilliant on Windows &
B: Because I prefer to run my DAW on Linux and there is not an MPC desktop or plugin for Linux.

The reason I prefer using linux is not because I am a Linux fanboy but simply because I get much better performance from my DAW (BITWIG) running it, and because linux supports simultaneously using multiple audio interfaces better than windows with less latency and glitches.

My computer is a few years old but still plenty powerful and I aint buying a new one just to use Win 11.
I will probably get a mac mini next but power wise my current machine handles everything with ease so no need to waste money unnecessarily.
