My MPC has a 2-3 second lag when i change drum tracks, if those tracks are midi, then the switch is smooth and fast.
On drum tracks (that have just one sample inside) it lags around 3 seconds, so if i wanna go with the scroll wheel from track 1 to track 5 it takes around 10 seconds... same thing happens when I switch pads in step sequencer, same in pad mixer when selecting pads, same on track mixer when i select drum tracks, again on midi tracks everything works perfectly.
I also tried drum programs that are empty, freshly new tracks with no samples, still same issue...
I am curious if yours is doing the same. It's not a dealbreaker but if I can do something about it I would like to try it out
