Ableton Sends MIDI to MPC Live 2 with Jitter

I wanna sequence my drums from Ableton into MPC Live 2, I like more the swing and the sequencer in ableton so makes more sense.

Sadly, there is some jitter in the audio. If I monitor only my kick which is a 4/4 pattern I get around 5 ms of difference between fastest kick and slowest kick. I know is not much, but in electronic music that makes it impossible to mix with others.

1 or 2 ms doesn't bother me, even 3 ms I can say, but not more then that.

Do you have any tips for making it less obvious? Ableton settings/MPC Settings

Jitter may result from many different components, and not all of it is the MPC's fault. You could measure the jitter contained in the MIDI events themselves by recording the MIDI output as audio, for example with a TRS MIDI cable. If the MIDI is jitter-free, then the jitter is caused by the MPC.

Generally speaking, IMO, if you want accurate drums, do it in the clock master DAW in-the-box. Then it's sample accurate. The MPC can be sample-accurate if you use internal drum samples and sequence in the MPC, and when it's the clock master.

Yes, MPC as midi slave is a disaster.
Use it as master, if you can, and try with 2.15.1, 3beta is still beta for a reason.
