yeah the vintage filter is free; just checked and GUI is fully accessible, so not sure why u have that issue

the vintage filter does sound good, but far as FX mpc is very well stocked, just need a parametrtic eq/graphic eq, and people say they need a nicer reverb

I don't know, Vintage Filter and Multitap delay are both working on my MPC but I can tweak the parameters only with Qlinks in screen mode and the values of every parameter only shows when I touch a qlink assigned to that parameter.
But yeah, the real vintage filter is the Akai one, I still use that, it sounds good with high resonation.

I am ok with the current Air parametric Eq, just use your ears as we used to do before Fabfilter ProQ switched the attention to the visual side.
Close the Q, rise the gain and search for the right frequency spot, then open the Q and lower the gain until you are satisfied.
Legacy Vintage Eq method :)

And yes, a Reverb Pro would be very welcome.

I am on 2.15.1, Vintage Filter and Multitap delay appear on my effect list, when I open them they have all parameters masked and I cannot use them but still I can change those parameters with Qlink on screen mode and I can load presets.
So they are useable but the GUI is not working.
Are they free?
How do I unlock them completely?

And how about Juno chorus?
Is it also free?

Is there an internet Akai page with ALL the effects I can buy?
It seems they are here and there, some on Air page, some on Akai, a bit confusing.

Juno Chorus is not free - you have to buy it. As far as your GUI issues are concerned, connect your MPC into Controller Mode to access the attached storage you are using for your Synths folder content. Delete the folders and all of their contents for the effects you're having issues with. Then go back into Standalone mode, make sure you're connected to the Internet and logged in to your account, and go back to Activations. Re-download any of the plugins you are having graphics issues with.

You are likely missing graphics content in those folders or they got corrupt.

The problem is that I never installed the software, I only use MPC standalone.
So basically you are saying that I should deactivate/reactivate the effects I have issues with?
Good tip. I will find a way without using computer.

Then you need to delete the plugin content folders on your PC/Mac instead.

No, it's likely not an activation issue. It sounds like a graphics asset/content issue on your computer. I simply suggested that you remain logged in to your account to make sure they are initially licensed and activated. Not sure if the free content requires that anymore, but it could be worth a try.

I think the issue is because I jumped from 2.10 to 2.15, so maybe I missed the update where those new fx were installed with proper graphic folders and so on.
But they are useable with qlinks in screen mode and I will solve the issue soon.
Thanks for the tips.

Oof - let me correct myself on this. I read that as you're only on the desktop software - just realized you're only standalone. So my original advice stands - go into your attached storage where you have your Synths folder and make sure the plugins folders you're having trouble with are 100% deleted. Then re-download and install them in standalone. That will ensure you have the latest graphics assets.
