MPC one plus Midi in not as responsive?

I connect my mpc one plus with my alesis strike multipad(ASM) with USB/5Din and found out that it doesnt play and some notes when i hit the ASM, especially the lower velocity.

I monitor the Midi In in the MPC and i saw the notes is being sent, i also notice that the midi note off is being sent according to the sample length.

In the MPC program Edit Global menu, i switch sample play to Note on, and layer play to velocity.

all the steps didnt produce the result that i wanted. the mpc doesnt response as fast as i hit the ASM

is there some sort of midi filter applies here?

Yoi don't want to set the sample to Note On; this will play the sample for only a few milliseconds. Set the sample to One Shot.

I did try different mode on that setting, but i didnt affect much..Mpc still skipping my fast notes, on the midi monitor i saw midi note off that is being triggered a few mill second later.
