Pads triggering

Hey anybody got any info that can help me.. all of sudden when I hit a pad it triggers another pad and both samples are now playing together.. my mpc one is only about a year old.. any info would help thanks

Check the global pad settings (simultaneous pad section or whatever its called, near the mute group section), to see if the 1 pad is set to trigger the other. Also check if you put a sample on another pad layer.
