Triggering Sequence change MPC One

Hello there! I would like to use an external footcontroller to trigger a sequence change on my MPC One. Triggering sequencechange works fine when i connect my mpk mini to the mpc one, press the programchange button and one of the pads on the mpk mini. But i have no idea how to do that with an external midifootcontroller instead of the mpk mini.
