Yeah it's never been an issue for me just routing everything to 3-4, & just assumed audio & monitoring could also be routed just as easily.
Clearly not, so I think that clears that up!!

I'll probably give it another try once I get that line out plug fixed or replaced

So we can rule out the “sampler” route ‘cause its hardwired to main out 1/2.

You have no choice but to use an AUDIO TRACK because its output is routable to any output.

The FX tab will get you the 4 fx slots, 0 dry signal to 100 wet fx (100 wet cuts out dry).
The SEND tab will get you 100 dry signal + 0-100 wet fx (blended together).

8 FX, no pedal needed. Try it!

tap top audio track icon or tap the gear icon to configure the audio track (same options, diff layout).

Even with us not knowing about the main out problems, you were still right.
It can’t be ignored. Different looking menus, but, the results are the same.

I will eventually get around to trying to get that broken socket fixed at some stage!

One of these will let you run two quarters out the headphone socket. Tape the splitter to the table to stop it falling off and putting unnecessary weight on the headphone socket and breaking that too. Better quality version would be preferable, but if you just want to try..

Thanks guys for all the info & suggestions!

After playing about with it more, seems more practical to just keep using the external reverb pedal rather than using the audio in on the MPC. If there was a simpler way to set it up for an entire set / project file that same as fx sends & mixer settings it could work better, but I think the cons out way the pros as it is for me at least..

I'd glady swap out all the plug in instruments to get some simple JJOS functionality back
