And some of the well known "known Issues" aren't even on that list.

Still no time signatures. Besides 4/4.

Yeah, grouping tracks is a cool feature. I remember when Cubase first introduced them, huge benefit.

Do you still have this problem? I got the delay pro like a week ago and have the exact same issue (3.4 on MPC one). All knobs of all tabs greyed out and don't show any position/change of value. I downgraded to 2.15 and the problem stayed the same. So apparently not only a mpc3 problem.

If anyone has the same issue and found a solution I would be very thankful. Submitted a ticket but didn't hear back from AIR yet.

You can change the temporary file folder from the internal drive to an SD/SSD. Check the Preferences > Project Load/Save > Temporary File Location.

I have the same issue even after I changed the temporary space to my external SSD. There's nothing else that I can move off my internal drive as it only has the original folders and demos. That's it.

Has anyone still gotten the message after moving the temporary file folder to an SD and found another fix?

Did you delete the files you moved?

Yeah, the Temporary Files folder on Internal is empty and I've moved the Temp file location setting to a folder on my SD card which has plenty of space on it. The Temp folder on my SD card is also empty. I still get the warning every time I power up.

Once you power up, go into the Menu screen and tap the drive storage icon. Which drive is showing as full or low?

Thanks for the response. Nothing was taking up much room.

I tried all sorts of stuff, but I'm pretty sure the thing that fixed it was making sure the folder I chose was named "Temporary Files". I had named it "Temp" initially and I don't think it was working right. The file was always empty when it was named Temp. When I changed it to Temporary Files and loaded it up in my MPC, it immediately had the folders "Temporary Recordings" and "Temporary Samples" in it and I stopped getting the warning.

I almost got away with just ignoring this warning until tonight when I was on a roll and suddenly couldn't save a sample due to low disk space :Sigh:

MPC-Tutor wrote:So these issues are relating to using a MIDI track with pad perform set to CUSTOM? So the custom mapping set is not behaving as configured?

Again, please try presenting this is a detailed, step-by-step way as it's really hard to decipher exactly what is going on.

Load a Program on MPC 2 one a track. The next rack set to MIDI and route to the track you loaded the Program on. Go to Progressions setting of the MIDI track, select Pad Bank A and set to CUSTOM>EDIT NOTE MAP and select the C1 custom mapping template. On the MPC 2 OS on my MIDI tracks routed to my other track with Program kit, it maps and triggers the samples exactly as the Program track itself from Pad A1-H16 in order. Now in MPC 3, following those same steps , the same CUSTOM C1 mapping template routed to a Drum track (vs Programs) is way off, out of order from Pad A1-H16. I reported this to Akai on their bug reporting page for the MPC 3 OS.

Searched through the megathread and found several folks mentioning this but thought I would "yes, and" it too. I just got an MPC One on Tuesday and it's great! But I slammed face-first into this one. Of note, this happens with CV outputs too (or appears to in my case). Which is a bummer because I wanted to see the note mapping to specific CV values, which I can do by finding the corresponding notes. But can't really do that with Custom being all busted.

Hmmm, the "known issues" list is bigger than the "MPC features" list. ;)

My first post here and new to the MPC. I got the One + a few days ago.
I'm already maxing out RAM. I did a large sample of an OB-XVA patch and that alone made the RAM hit 60%.
I'm very interested in what you said about bulk editing the Track .xty file. What utility did you use?

Thanks!
