MPC ROUTED INTO A MIXER THEN FROM MIXER TO DAW FOR RECORDING

So I have just recently bought a Yamaha MG10XUF(F stands for faders, minor differences from the MG10XU model, but practically the same model), and I am trying to run audio from my MPC into the mixer so that I can record the audio from my MPC inside of my DAW as an audio track. I have correctly routed everything to the mixer and set up the correct inputs for my DAW including downloading the correct driver from Yamaha's website for my DAW(FL Studio) to record the audio from the mixer into my DAW by a USB connection from the mixer into an adapter connected to my Laptop(MacBook Air 2020). However, after recording the audio track, I still have not been able to hear the audio recorded inside the DAW, but it still shows the audio track has recorded sound. I also have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and have tried directly recording the sound from the MPC into my DAW using a Y-cable, but the audio quality was terrible. For that reason, I had purchased this mixer intending to bridge the gap so that I could record audio from my MPC; into this Mixer so that I could then record an audio track in my DAW, from the audio that is being routed into the mixer from the MPC.

Questions-
1. Is there a problem within the Mixer's Setup? Could I have possibly routed something incorrectly, or have I possibly missed an important button or switch to turn on the mixing console itself? (*Possibly a question for Yamaha, but I was hoping someone with a similar setup may have experienced the same issue and has found a result that works)

2. Is there an issue with the MPC, and can changing a certain setting inside the MPC's preferences allow me to fix this issue? (I have had my MPC1+ for a little less than a year, so I am still an amateur and inexperienced when it comes to some of these issues.)?

3. Is there an issue with my DAW? I have armed the track to record from the Mixer inputs, and sound does get recorded, I am just unable to hear the sound inside of my DAW, although it shows that audio has been recorded into the track.

4. Would using both the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and the Mixer together, and just purchasing more cables to route them correctly, be the best option? ( I have recorded audio using the Scarlett before, although the quality was terrible, would routing the audio from the mixer into the Focusrite fix this issue and improve the sound quality?)(* Again, possibly a question for Yamaha or even Focusrite, but I was hoping someone with a similar setup may have experienced the same issue and has found a result that works)

I know this is a lot of information to just drop, but any useful information or guidance would be appreciated because this has been frustrating since the MPC controller mode has not been updated yet, and most of my projects are in MPC 3, and exporting the audio has NOT been a useful route because it seems to reduce the quality of the audiofile whether MP3 or WAV formatting.

So let's recap.

1 you're going mpc > mixer > daw.
2 you can hear and capture the wav.

3 you cannot play back the captured wav in the daw?

If that's the case, often times a daw will not play the audio captured into a lane until you disarm it. like in reaper, i cant hear the audio until i disarm the track after capture otherwise i hear the inbound signal from the line i set to target.

If you arent capturing any signal, you are recording from the wrong channels from the mixer. hunt down the pair of channels that get the meter bouncing.

OK, so you have a waveform in FL studio, it's recorded *something* so we're looking at a playback issue.

Unplug the desk and try to play through the built in speakers on the laptop, do you hear anything?

If yes, look at this page and see if you can work out how to route audio to your desk via usb.

If no, look at this page and see if you can select your internal soundcard.

As for the focusrite recording, what was wrong? That should be fine so probably need to check your settings. Sticking the desk between the MPC and the focusrite won't improve anything - my hunch would be your buffer settings but I'll wait to hear what you thought was audibly wrong.
