So...... it's been 90 minutes. Anyone have a chance to install and use this yet?

I have a question about using MPC2 in controller mode and using MPC3 in controller mode.

Does the hardware revert to whatever version you are using?

yes, hardware layout depends on version you're currently running (2.x - red / 3.x - dark)

disregard previous comment - there never was an ableton control in desktop TUI

Does any of this apply to using the MPC software as a VST in Ableton, or is that completely separate and still in 2.0 land?

3.5 installer doesn't contain plugin version, at least not on windows and at least I didn't found it.
