New MIDI notes silent after opening & closing TC view

I am facing a weird issue of new MIDI notes silenced after opening & closing TC view.
Am I doing something wrong or is this about a bug in firmware?

HW: MPC ONE
FW: 3.5.0 (file MPC-3.5.0.54-update.img)

Scenario
1. Configuring MIDI track, sends MIDI to channel 1 where I have Alesis D4 (drum sound sample module). Before recording anything MPC pads play Alesis D4 sounds as should.
2. Recording MIDI with MPC pads. Stop.
3. Playing the recorded MIDI track, Alesis D4 produces sounds ok. Stop.
4. Pushing TC button to open the Timing Correct view of the MPC and after that closing the TC view (with or without modifications of values; does not make any difference to behavior).
5. Playing the recorded MIDI track, Alesis D4 produces sounds ok.
6. Trying to play Alesis D4 with pads. No sound.
7. Over dubbing MIDI track with MPC pads. Only the recorded MIDI from step 2 makes Alesis D4 make sounds. MIDI notes are added into the track, but they do not cause any sounds.
8. Adding new notes by editing on UI to the MIDI track and trying to play the track. Only the recorded MIDI from step 2 makes Alesis D4 make sounds.

Alesis D4 is connected to MPC with traditional MIDI cable that is working.

I think that I was facing this same issue with an older firmware as well.
