Question:
I use an MPC Live 2 running firmware version 3.5.0 for live performance. I'm trying to find a way to automatically change a plugin's transpose parameter whenever I switch sequences.
In my live set, each sequence is a different song in a different key. For example:
· Sequence 01 is in the key of C.
· Sequence 02 is in the key of F.
I have a specific plugin on Track 02 that needs to be transposed to match the key of each sequence. Since updating from an older OS (like 2.5), I've lost the ability to make this change happen automatically. Currently, when I switch from Sequence 01 to Sequence 02, the plugin retains its previous transpose setting. I have to change it manually during my performance, which is distracting and error-prone, as the pads need to play in the right key.
My goal is simple: I need the plugin on Track 02 to automatically load the correct transpose setting the moment Sequence 02 starts.
Is there a method in OS 3.5.0 to achieve this? Perhaps through specific automation recording settings, track initialization options, or another workaround?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
