Is there really still no way to latch a pad?!?

how has such a simple function / edit been not implemented...
i want a chord from pad perform to keep sustaining, until i press another one.
still no way to do this??

It's frustrating. I loop ambient tones with crossfade but you are locked into triggering it on a beat as the sequence loops.

there was a bug where if you leave main screen without releasing the pad, note off wouldn't be sent and the pad would play indefinitely
