It looks great. Still working with my og Mpc X and live 3. I will wait until the summer since I just got the live.

Wonder what other brand has their user base doing all the marketing for their products for free. All akai has to do is fake a leak, then let the fans take it from there. No advertising budget is needed

think most people knew the XL design was real soon as the box images leaked.

despite the AI images that followed, it was clear that box photo was not a fake image.

people like to be contary and say "AI slop" as it seems to be the cool thing to do.

but we shall see this Thursday hopefully when the official Andy Mac vid drops, what the full details are.

presuambly the desktop software will be out of beta, and some new vsts and other software updates may also be added.

That looks great. That price tag is a bit too hefty to justify to myself given my skillset.

Was gonna say it's a good time to grab a used X SE, but I see folks are trying to get the full market price (plus some) for them on ebay

i sold both of my X se's when the first leaked photo came out because i knew the profit margin would drop once cats got a wiff of the official launch. ive got the live3 to hold me over..

X SE holding value mostly due its classic retro colour wave, and 4GB RAM

no one is going to pay 2K for a used MPC X or SE. the XL is not even out yet, but best believe next week when this drops you will see massive X SE's on the market. im not sad at all that i sold them when I did.

I sold mine and my retro live 2 at the same time.. wheeew.. I’m right there with you rocking the live 3 now and honestly this looks really cool, but so does my live 3 and I don’t see anything I can’t do on my live so will probably just not even bother with this, I actually prefer the live for the size and speakers and everything.
