Having an issue with the clock sync/transport when connected to external sequencer (Oxi One Mk2) vis 5-pin DIN.
Play on the Oxi triggers the Play vs the Play Start on the MPC. The result is (and I'm assuming it's due to the Play vs Play Start) every few times that I press play on the Oxi, for the first beat, it will from the current playhead location on the MPC before going to the start of the sequence.

MPC settings:
Midi/Sync:
Input Ports > MPC 2 (Connected to the Oxi) set to Track
Input Ports > MPC B (Connected to the Oxi) set to Sync

Sync Receive > Receive set to Midi Clock
Nothing else checked

Sync Send > All default settings (Off, unchecked 30 drop, 0,0,0,0)

Midi Input > Default settings (unchecked, off)

This is perhaps no use in your use case since already selling the Oxi. And not fully sure what the issue was.

You Slaved the MPC to your Oxi, and sometimes the MPC wouldn't start from the start of a Sequence. But you wanted the MPC to always start from the beginning of a sequence when pressing play on the Oxi?

Did you press double tap stop on the Oxi before pressing Play again?

On many sequencers Play is actually Play OR Continue (as on the MPC Live/One for example). If the MPC hasn't received a proper Stop command, it will continue to play were it was on the next play it receives.

I have in muscle memory to always double tap stop on my Octatrack, this send a definite stop command to my external gear.
Even my Digitone won't change its patterns if I press a single stop on the Octatrack, change patterns, and press play again. It will continue where it was in the pattern, and the Octatrack will play another pattern from the start.

So double pressing stop "resets" all gear to the start of their sequences.
