Also do you happen to know if there is a known issue when sending drum tracks to Midi tracks, MPCe pads x and y axis midi cc info? I got it to work when playing live but when I try to record the automation it won't record even though I arm the automation track. When I do the same with CV track it works fine and records the automation.[/quote]

If anyone else is having the issue I figured it out. For some reason with drum tracks controlling midi tracks in order to record automation you need to go to the mixer inputs page and turn on automation recording for both the drum track and the midi track but then just record arm the drum track. not sure why you have to do this with drum tracks controlling midi tracks and not when drum tracks control CV tracks.

Screenshot,open a ticket with Akai support, link to the URL of the FAQ. I'd be very surprised if they don't give you those plugins.

I found that 4 instruments and 5 effects weren't included when registering my xl, so you'll definitely want to check and have akai to allocate them.

The instruments were jura,mini d, sub factory, and ring the alarm. The missing effects were jura chorus, soft clipper, flavor pro, delay pro, and Flex beat.

So if you've only noticed jura and mini d, check the others. Whoever was saying just an error on the FAQ, eh no, there's multiple places that list that those tools are included and if you consider that a part of your purchasing decision, don't accept anything less than getting them all (but i don't expect you'll face an issue getting them)

I had a ticket with akai, and they've all been enabled in my account (and I've activated on my xl and one+).

The product page specifically lists the following premium instruments included, no FX mentioned:

Fabric XL, Fabric, Fabric Piano, Fabric Electric, OPx4, Studio Strings, Organ, Analog Dreams

I can only find that FAQ which lists the other plugins, no other official source. Where else are you seeing this?

All user reports I've seen list only the above plugins as included by default. So it seems the product page lines up with what people are actually getting, but perhaps someone in the chain messed up and the FAQ is actually correct.

But yes, while the FAQ exists you can certainly try claiming that this was one of the driving reasons you bought an MPC XL .

I mean for me, getting a free copy of Ring The Alarm is worth $3k alone.
