Warp / timstretch vocals on Live3 compared to MPC one

Currently I have a MPC one and while I'm trying to warp vocals from sample cd's) all the algorithms give bad results (stutter, blurry) when transposing more the 2 semitones. he Super algorithm is even worse than the Pro Ten.
Even with time stretch the results are not usable.

How are the results on the live 3 with time stretching / warping vocals?
When the Live 3 gives usable results I am planning to upgrade but It's a lot of money and don't want to buy something to find out that it also can't achieve usable results. I know you can achieve very good results within a daw but I want to work only on my MPC.

I searched the internet but I found only posts and videos about timestretching and warping beats or some melodic samples.

Of course, any process is slower on less capable hardware. But do you mean you perceived a quality difference ? If so, I would not understand how it happens - given the same algorithm executed only slower.

I use time stretching / warping only for vocals, brass and guitar samples from sample cd's. Vocal samples are the most difficult to change pitch / time stretch.
All other stuff I play in using a midi keyboard (key groups / plugins) and/or pads on the MPC.
For me the fun part is making a complete song without a computer. I only use the computer for mastering.
So not a very common way of using the MPC perhaps. I came from Ableton with a Push 2 controller, sold it and bought an MPC. Never regretted is, the MPC workflow inspires me much more :)

I get the Best Results Warping when I set the BPM in the Track Edit Page, to the Project tempo. If you want it slower, adjust the BPM in the Track edit screen a few ticks lower, THEN start messing the the Percentage tab Next to it.

If you want Extreme warping, I would Time Stretch the Sample Offline in the Sample Edit Screen. Undo and Redo it til you get it how you like.
Then You can warp it a lil bit some more for flexibility.

Unfortunatelly this can only be answered by someone who owns the live 3 and (owned) the MPC one and used time stretching / warping on vocal and or melodic samples.

They have comparisons online. Gen2 is way better from what I've seen.

You can try setting Warp on an audio track and adjusting the pitch with the SEMI parameter. Then go to the Arrangement tab on the main screen, tap the pencil icon, and choose "Flatten Elastique," which uses the same quality warp algorithm as the desktop version.
