I am in the middle of working on a live performance using the MPC Live II on the 3.5 firmware as a on the fly resampler for various synths. I was going to bounce the looper take onto a blank audio track but I just realized that those audio tracks do not carry over between sequences. The looper itself is applied globally to the project, so as I transition into the next sequence, the recorded looper take keeps playing which is what I want to assist in the transitions.

My question is how can I apply the MPC's internal effects on the looper recorded buffer? The inserts on the looper are only for effecting the incoming looper recording; it only prints the effects on the recording being made into the looper. I have tried to put insert effects on master out 1 & 2 (where the looper take is playing out of) to no avail. It appears that one can't assign the looper to a submix either.

Ideally, I'd like to be able record a dry take of a synth into the looper and then use the q-link knobs to be assigned to the wet/dry values of various effects for extra flavor during the performance. Unfortunately, it looks like all signs point to that this isn't possible, but I wanted to see if the community has a work around for this.

Any help would is greatly appreciated.
