MPC One file management

Hey guys,

Just got my first MPC One, stepping into the MPC workflow for the first time and I was wondering if anyone had any resources/recommendations concerning file management within the MPC. How is everyone else using the internal storage, and external storage devices? I have both a 128gb USB and a 128gb SD card, which I’m planning on using simultaneously. The SD card is where I’m planning on storing all of my samples, expansions, synths, etc. The USB is dedicated to projects and templates. I just need help figuring out how to keep everything organized between the MPC, my computer, and my storage devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My Force came with a 1TB SSD & I got a 128SD. I used the SSD as my main drive & the SD as a back & also a quick way bring files from & into the Force without using PC Mode. I don’t save anything the internal drive & I would advise you to do the same. As saving to the internal memory can lead to eternal misery!

Make sure you set disk-streaming to the SSD/SD & not the internal - I think its set there as default.

I'd advise you not to save anything to the internal drive.
