Open MPC 1000 Projects in MPC X 3.9

Have you tried loading the midi sequences?

MPC 1K “AKP” = MPC X “PRJ”.
Not everything will port over correctly or at all.

Some JJOS parameters max at 100, but 127 on the Force. The most difficult part was matching the dual filter setting on the JJ. I was aways able to, but you gotta be patient. If 3.9 can't load it at all then you may have to use an older OS & then convert 3.9.

Yeah I was thinking of trying to go back to an older OS. Do you think 2.0 would be a good place to start?

I figured out what you were talking about and it worked! I had to go into the 1k save my sequence as a midi, and open the midi sequence in the X. All my tracks and midi notes loaded. The only thing I needed to do to get it to play right was to load the programs that each track was using. The effects, and mixing is all off, but I can fix that manually now in the X. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
