Free MPC Wavetable Splitter for Akai MPC 3.9+
With MPC Software/Firmware 3.9, Akai introduced user wavetables for the new Keygroup synthesizer, opening up a whole new world of sound design directly on the MPC.
To make creating your own wavetables easier, I've developed MPC Wavetable Splitter – a free desktop application that automatically converts long recordings into MPC-ready wavetables.
Features:
Automatically split long WAV files into individual waveforms
✂️ Remove silence between sounds
Detect and optionally skip duplicate waveforms
Detect the root note automatically
️ Preview and fine-tune each waveform before exporting
Create the correct MPC wavetable folder structure with the required format.json file – ready to copy directly to your MPC
Whether you're sampling vintage synthesizers, modular gear, ROMplers, or creating your own single-cycle waveforms, this tool is designed to speed up the entire workflow.
The project is completely free and will continue to receive new features and improvements.
