Anybody seen their live or touch do this?

It's happened twice with my live where there starts to be a slight flickering of screen. It goes away when I switch it to "day light" mode

I'm thinking I should return it while I still can.

Yes mine does this but only when its been sitting in my bag turned off for a while. Once I plug it back up it goes away.

i noticed this a couple days ago. when the screen dims it will flicker. ive seen this happen twice now. it did today at the office.

i will for sure return it and get the next batch. if there are no local ones in stock here in LA ill just wait for the next batch which should be in 2 weeks according to them.

i still love this thing and will miss it. i plan to get it as a companion to the X.

question: how is everyone's big data dial? is it slightly loose/wobbly or stiff and tight like the qlinks?

Yes I experienced it a couple days ago, figured the battery needed charging. I always use the Live unplugged and connect the AC adaptor only to charge. I have it set to night time as well. But looking at the battery-life was only 86%. Looks like a glitch more than a hardware issue. Hasn't happened again, should be reported as a bug.

Dam you're getting the X too? This enough for me and what l want to do.
The QLinks are dope.
Yeah my Data wheel wobble a lil. Its going to do that to give sone give to it because you can push it down . notice the QLinks are stiff, you don't push those down all you do is turn them. So it wobbles is ok.

It happened both while plugged in and running on battery

Hasn't happened since switching to daytime. Hopefully it's software issue with the dimming

yeah brotha the X stays home, the live goes with me. thats been my plan since day one.

thanks for your input on the data wheel. yeah it can push down but its a bit too wobble for my taste, so that coupled with the bug i just found out (cant record longer than 5 minutes in audio track mode) i just returned it to GC today and placed another order for a new one in the next batch.

yeah the screen flicker may be a bug that needs squashing. ill see if it happens on the new one.

The master knob has been wobbly since the Touch.

LOL. They're gonna bury you with that MV, son.

Never had the Touch but thank you for stating that. Makes me feel at ease. I still retired it and got another one on the way. I just picked up my Prophet REV2 16 Voice so i like a pig in slop until the X gets in my grubby paws...

Any updates on this? Does the screen flicker still exist on the newer batches?

I have been experiencing the same flickering issue, but I also find it goes away when setting to "Day" brightness mode. Although for some reason, sometimes "Day" mode seems to automatically de-select itself, so the flickering comes back and I have to select "Day" mode again.
It doesn't happen often, and I haven't been able to pinpoint what it is that causes it. But if anyone got a newer unit that doesn't have this issue, I may try to exchange as well.
