Is it just me, or does the mini-grand sound tinny?? It sounds like a toy piano when you start it up in 2.0.. Am I missing something really simple??

Yeah checkout the different pianos in it and hit the high and low keys simultaneously and listen to the wonderful emulations. Air Music Technology don't put out crap.

Peace

@ Danoc: Well, tried it again today, & it's very strange...it's as if the sounds are clipping, .like there's no sustain on them. stranger still, the polyphony is @ 61, so no issue with that. When I said it sounds like a toy piano, it more that each note is playing as if it's mono. Every other plugin works fine, even tried it in Ableton & also Reaper-same outcome. I did watch your vid again, & sure enough, it works fine in the vid.....time for some head-scratching, methinks....

Dammmm I don't know and being someone else is having the same problem, I don't know cause mine sound full. Hell I have already used it in songs with my singer and starting on another one and just using that Piano. I didn't even use my Eastwest pianos which are the bomb.
All I can tell you is uninstall and reinstall. If that don't work, then there is something wrong with the audio some how. I never experienced that, and you can hear how it sounds in my video.
What are your specs to your computer and what audio card do you have? I wanna try to help if I can cause you're missing out on a badass piano!

Peace

@Danoc: Yeah, it's a weird one alright. It's the ONLY plugin that has this issue. All my other NI/AppleArturia/Akai plugins work flawlessly, except this one..Specs: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)
Processor:2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 ,8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Sound card on the Mac Mini is Focusrite Pro24 firewire.
Appreciate all the help & advice, buddy.. 8) 8)

Not to derail the thread, but…has anyone had this weird bug with Mini Grand:
the notes play extremely short. Like if its sustain was at 0 and super short decay.
The weirdest thing is it happens in the MPC as well as in Ableton.
And yes, I do have a legit version and all. All other AIR instruments work without any probs.
I literally cant squeeze anything but a short "blip" out of it.

@ Fanu: You're not derailing the thread, bud!! That's exactly the problem that me & J.O.BEATS are having!!
You call it a "short blip"- weirdly accurate!! Yeah, that's literally the only plugin with this (don't wanna call it a bug..even though it might be..) "issue".
@ Danoc: Tried uninstalling & reinstalling- no difference.
Might flag it up @ Akai HQ, see what they come up with..
Are you guys using Mac? just wondered if its a weird OSX conflict...

Your specs are ok l can not tell you what the problem is. Wondering if when yoy down loaded it did it get a glitch.
