On my mpc x sometimes the note repeat gets stuck on random pad that im not even using, im guessing its a bug.
While in the process of making the beat and i wanna use note repeat the mpc just repeats a note that im not even using when i hit the note repeat even on latch mode.

Am i the only one with this issue? I spoke to akai rep and he said its my pad sensitivity which is set to 8 and suppose to be normal, whats your pad sensitivity set to?

It’s a bug. It happened to me a few times after working on a project for quite awhile. I had to restart the machine to get it back to normal.

It happened over the span of maybe three days. One day it would only work for like 15 min before strong like that. I thought it was something I was doing when tweeking a track. It only happened on that project and hasn’t happened since. So I forgot about it until I read this.

I suggest that you guys report it too, becouse i just spoke to a akai rep and they say its not a bug and say its down to the pad sensitivity

HAPPENED HERE TOO !!
While playing a sequence i went to add note repeat so pressed shift and note repeat ( to latch it on ) but when i pressed the note repeat button THE WHOLE SEQUENCE STUTTERED ! as in it repeated the step again and again (sort of like the scatter function on the TR8)
Also , MPC X does NOT output midi start from ANY of the 4 midi outputs when in standalone, as it says it does in the preferences settings page. I do hope this is fixed in the upcoming update that Akai mentioned on saturday!
