Hello to all

Strange bug i have on my MPC One.
I have a sample chop choped with 8 extracted wav files.
After saving the project and reopening it, those 8 files are randomly not read on the MPC.
I've tried 5 times to restart from scratch but same at every loads of the project.

When I browse the SD card, I see the 8 wav files but can't load them or preview them.
I've went on controller mode and computer reads it well.
Only thing I've found on unreadable files is that the length is at 00:00:00 in the properties.

Does someone have a magic slap for this bug ?

I was on 2.12.3, been back on 2.11.9 to try. Same.

Please help, going crazy with this :worthy:

I've had similar things happen that turned out to be maxed out memory. In total or just for the specific project. Worth checking before you go further into other possibilities. Note that the way it handles memory seems to be quite elastic so you may have to shave things down more than you'd think in order to get things working correctly again.

Make sure the WAVs are 44.1k

Can't be memory as I only have this sample lozded. I've checked the ressources and I'm far from saturation :)

The wave files not loading are being generated by the MPC so it would be strange that it create them in a format it doesn't handle. And I have some that works. Other not. No sense :(

For information, when i check the properties of the slice not anymore functionnal on the MPC, i see that the length is 00:00:00

And it is exactly the same for all slices causing problem.

Other working have a length configured.

Really strange

Yo...that Bit Rate looks weird. Maybe its me.
and another thing...why are you breaking down into separate wav files. Just chop it to a Chopped
Program. That way it'll just save the Markers.

Just checked the properties of slices issued from the original sample.
Original is 16Bits, all slices are 24 Bits. WTF ???

Just found the parameter "Bounce Bit Depth", changed back to 16, same....hating my MPC saving shit right now

Never read all of it, so much pages :vomit:
But never though this depth parameter was on 24 bits. My ears are so **** up that even on 4bits I'll won't get difference

Only guy who read the manual twice is Chuck Norris. In Japanese.

Still truing to understand this shit and found that if I do the project, save it, load an other one and load back original one, all good.
If I reboot MPC, taadddaaa. Slices are in my ash.

Can't work like this and lost project, so frustrating
