(MPC37)Plugins for ethereal pads to use for Jungle/DnB

Hello,
I am new at using this machine. Can anyone suggest plugins for the MPC37 to make ethereal pads from scratch? I read Ether is a good one, but there is so many expansions/plugins/options I don't want to spend money on the wrong one. Looking for something that would be kinda like AMIGO VST but could work in standalone.
Also is is there free plugins that can be downloaded/installed via USB for example without registering for the inmusicstore?

My goal is to be able to create similar sounds such as these

All you need is a couple of saw or square samples and a tutorial on how to make pads.
Amigo cant do what you want unless you drop a premade 'pad' sample into it, it doesn't really do much aside from playback and time stretch. There is also no way VST plugins are going to work on the MPC.

The sampler in the MPC is about 1000 times more capable.

So far the only thing that I have that comes close to making samples from scratch is for the desktop - Arturia Pigments.

It CAN do ethereal pads, and it will do them excellently once you understand it and play around with it.

For shimmer reverb you could use AIR Pitch Shifter in front of a reverb or go a step further and use it in between two reverbs.
But the easy way is to get either AIR Ether or AIR Sprite which have the pitch shifter baked in,

At 100€ a piece, I'll gladly experiment with the home made AIR Pitch Shifter reverb sandwich instead. Thanks for the tip - I'll dig in that direction !

A recipe found on Reddit: "When imitating the shimmer effects, I prefer to put the pitch shifter between the delay (short-ish time, long feedback) and reverb (long time, big hall/church/cathedral sort of setting). I've found this dulls down some of the harshness when you modulate the pitch higher, while still muddying the definition between repeats. The bigger hall/church effects tend to have slight modulation built in, so that helps"

If it makes any difference to you, right now both Ehter and Sprite are on sale for about 30 euro/dollar on Plugin Boutique. And I found that if Air Plugins aren't not on sale right now there's always another sale coming up soon. I noticed MPC support is not yet mentioned at Plugin Boutique but in my experience the plugins that have mpc support can be activated without a problem regardless of where I got them.

Another thing you could try in your experiments is the Akai Granulator before a reverb.

Microkorg. lol. It's the swiss army knife of synthesizers. I might be a microkorg super fan though who over uses it.. but i bought it specifically for dnb and it delivers for a cheap price tag.
