I missed the boat on a few plugins that were discounted .. I guess now a discounted bundle won't happen now... what happens to leak pictures with an ethetnet port and better tilt screen bracket..

It a great purchase for those that want the upgrade..

I really don't understand, we all saw the pictures of the xl with a Ethernet and better bracket.. did they just scrap that idea? Why release an inferior xl?

The one thing that is really annoying me (and probably you too) is all these youtubers and even Andy Mac, talking about this like it's some new MPC. Andy's demo for Andertons is completely pointless, he spends 99% of the time telling us about all the great features that we already have on the entire MPC range, some from years ago!
The youtubers are obviously raving over it as they got it for free!!!!

I've got no problem with them releasing a retro edition for the birthday but just call it that and stop pretending it's some groundbreaking new technology, it's 2gb of friggin ram and some gray paint

I'm glad that it does seem to show that Akai is still intending to support these for the next few years, which is more than they did for MANY previous products of theirs. I look forward to 3.0 and hope it is what we expect it to be. Maybe the next generation of MPC in a year or two will be the big push forward.....hopefully!

which still seems credible as he showed documentation; and so far he has been correct that the mpc xl (now called se) would be the first of 3 mpc's to release this year.

the next will be the MPC One plus; he show extensive documentation for that and I dont think anyone doubts that there will be an updated MPC One given how well it sold.

The speculative one is the live mini which sounds like it will be a similar form factor the OP1 with a cut down/simple os.

And given In music interest in the consumer market I dont think it is far fetched as the MPC software may be intimidating to some so they may want to target more casual hobbyist with this speculative live mini.

this is the next gen bro 3 mpcs due this year, MPC X SE; is the first out the gate, then the MPC One plus, which in the same trend as the X SE will be a very minor improvement.

and the wild card is the speculative MPC mini which is not really aimed at existing MPC users its more of an entry level standalone MPC aimed at the consumer /dabbler market.
