jesus christ people.

you either like Native Instruments workflow or the Akai workflow.

It's $599 , a quick internet search is all it takes instead of posting nonsense

Yoooo there's a line here. Sheesh.
What do you got? I got lack of PDC on software, lack of automation on standalone, not being able to copy and paste midi notes on standalone…

Nah man, it's 599 with built-in sound card and comes with Komplete 11 Select (which is 199 if you scoop it up separately).

It's a **** steal for those who are into the Maschine workflow, there is no denying that

List Edit would be great. In a way it'd slightly even address the issue of not being able to edit automation: you could edit automated values of the notes. Yes please.

I'll wait until the update is out before I formally complain.
But tbh, my main gripes are the awful reverb and the lack of standalone sidechain, so those won't be fixed.
Proper clips and time stretch seems to be coming, so maybe the one I'll complain about will be no midi out via usb.

Disclaimer before a particular forum member chimes in:
The above does not mean I hate the MPC Live and I should return it, please save your finger the effort.

Not to be a pessimist, but they'll probably never update the reverb. Stuff like that rarely happens with hardware. It is what it is, and they have a ton of more important stuff to address.
I wish they brought the nineties Akai rack sampler reverbs to the modern devices…

I gave up on that, I have an external solution in place and I set my mind at ease, could really do with midi out on USB though.
Ps: I just read the whole Soundonsound article, the new sample page inrogram view looks sweet!
