Anyway, I only make music on this machine, and what plugins I have installed they already know, so I wonder what info they are after.
Maybe they want to know how many people rolled back to 2.15 or didnt uograde at all.

Have you seen the camera that lives under the screen at the bottom? They try to listen and watch everything and give it to your insurance company.

I have this very expensive toy Mpc x SE and since 3.4.1 one can’t zoom I grid mode, neither scroll horizontally.

Is there a way to zoom in/out, other than using the touch screen that with both hands?

I'm having exploding tracks in some projects. For some reason some tracks in a drum program will not populate with MIDI event data. And now some tracks are hard panned but centered in the mixer. I had LESS bugs with the beta, this is f'n ridiculous.

Agreed. Even for me who is total newbie to mpc, can see how the beta were almost perfection in comparison to this dysfunctional mess.

I have the feeling that there’s one single person on the job and this guy is doing ketamine and really proud of the fact that one can change color on the pads. He should be, but Akai needs a reality check.

Really, that’s the only explanation I can think of.

No clips anymore. Not a bug, purposely removed it would seem.

I think it's bc they're gonna add the Force clip-matrix, but don't wanna rock the MPC boat too much at once. Plus, they can even get the features that's there already to work, but MPC3 is just getting started.

Akai knows we all know they rushed the beta for NAMM, so expect a new update soon.

Hello All!

I'm a new MPC Live II user and have started directly with version 3.4.1. I wanted to humbly share some feedback on areas that could be improved—or perhaps I'm simply doing something wrong! Since I don’t have experience with the previous software versions, I can’t say whether these are bugs or just features that need enhancement.

One feature I found very appealing is the Grid View, which resembles the piano roll in DAW tracks. However, it seems that I can't place notes at the selected playhead position using pads or a MIDI keyboard unless I'm recording or overdubbing.

I know I can use Step Sequencer to enter sounds for individual pads (though it feels a bit odd to switch to it while having the full Grid View in front of me), but it doesn’t seem to work for entering chords from a keyboard. I’m aware of the mode that allows playing a full chord with a single note, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for.

Is there a way to enter notes directly at the playhead position, or is this functionality missing?

Did anyone ever use the Clip mode?
I found you could have exactly the same loading samples on a drum track.
So it makes sense they removed it.

You use the pencil icon & you can set the size of the note by changing the Time Divsion in the TC settings but it only works if TC is on. Also you can copy & paste notes & u use the time-line to paste notes exactly where you want. Also, you can use the List Editor to edit notes.

The clip program has a unique feature that allowed it to play a sample quantised per bar during playback. There is no such feature at the moment. Clip programs worked similarily to ableton clips and it is pretty much a great feature to have
