@ sawwaveanalog

On Imgur I right clicked so I could "copy file location" then pasted that into your post.
I then highlighted the whole link and hit the little red "insert image" button above to
encapsulate it, done.

Quote your own post above to see what the link actually looks like.

Thanks to all, glad you like it ;-) Yeah, PE brings da noise to my house too since the 90s :worthy:

And this MPC really inspires me to go and make some music. Haven't started my studio PC since I got it and had more fun creating a loop since ages. Still need to figure out how to record my outgear though

Me too. Im just getting back into sampling and oooohhhh boy!

You can record your out gear by the record ins on your Live. Ima hook up a dvd player so l can sample staight from a CD or DVD. And lm getting a turn table... Well l might.

Yeah, every house needs a turntable for sure

Meanwhile I figured out what I was missing before: I used midi-out to fire my Korg Volca Bass (btw, everybody needs a 303, too - to quote Norman Cook / Fatboy Slim  ). While this worked fine, I just couldn't record an audio track from that synth while playing. Somehow now managed, can't really explain - but this workflow needs some work :hmmm:

The 1210 is connected to the MPC directly of course while I use a subgroup of my mixer to connect to the MPC's line in. Really comfy way to attach several synths / audio sources to that one input.

For hardware revision 2.0 I wish they would add a docking station!

I actually got two port replicators for my Thinkpad and don't wanna miss it. Either just click it into my studio so I can use my NI Traktor Scratch, or click it into my living room where it's connected to the stereo, tv etc... Now if THAT concept would also apply for my MPC, I would buy this docking station right away. Never would have to reconnect all the wires when I wanna take it with me.
