Just a quick update.
Sadly for me it’s a warranty return to Akai.
So maybe jumped the gun on something being deleted and more a known error.
Cheers for the help.

Yeah have to say it’s a bit disappointing.
I could understand if I or someone had deleted something but support asked to return it immediately without any troubleshooting.
That says to me there’s a known issue.
Problem with returns is they usually take bloody ages.
Only good experience I’ve had is with Moogs UK distributors (Can’t remember their name) who had my Sub 37 back to me in 72hrs.

Seems like the bug from the initial release isn’t fully squashed.

I'm having a similar issue. I deleted the demos folder and in so doing screwed up the templates and recent projects options on startup.

Saving a project gives you the option to create folders. So what is the directory that comes factory so I can recreate it? (Ie. Internal>Demos> ????)

Thanks

Same here, deleted the demo folder to get rid of those silly demo's. But now that handy startup screen is gone indeed.. Guess i should have researched first before doing so :) now it just starts up as a blank empty project, which is fine for me, though opening a recent project is kind of handy on startup. Now trying to get the demo's from the akai site and install it on an sd card to see if it can boot from there. Will let you know..

Too bad, you can't select your own folder as a startup default, so loading it from the demo folder i copied on an sd card is not gonna work.. Baffled by this limitation and also that you can't save anything to the internal memory.

Oh well, it's fine like this too with an empty project by default.

Akai should add (ASAP) a boot into last used project function. I haven't even listened to the demos-they're useless to me and I have to keep them to ensure no fcukups happen? :WTF:
