Massive latency (in standalone mode) - anyone else?

TC on for me is a beautiful thing. Im use to having it on. I can precisely record what l want with the TC on.

TC off, and you have bad timing is not the fault of the machine, it's you and your timing. This is not latency.
The resolution of the mpc is way more precise than your human timing. TC off is recording exactly what you do as a human. It's the users timing, not gear fault. With practice TC can turn into a beautiful beautiful thing.

Well, he's saying it's working fine and then gets it for 2-3 seconds. That's probably not a case of not understanding basic functionality.

Just to say, I always had sync midi clock issues every time I used any gear and also laptop all synced with midi clock.
I guess it depends on the fact we are working with a very old technology since midi clock is something developed in the 80s.
Has anyone worked with the other midi protocol, the one that was used mainly for films?
Is it better?
Can mpc live connect through that?

I have Starman on ignore. I don't talk to him so he does anything to get my attention. He's an attention whore, he's like that ex girl you can't seem to get rid of and wants to be a pest in your life.

If that clown thinks l dont understand jitters, latency and quantizing then he's a fool. All you gotta do is watch this guy follow me around. He's trolling. He should be worrying about making music, which is hard for me to believe he is making music.

But l try to help people as much as l can so they can enjoy the MPC live like l am. We MPC users should be abke to help one another. I remember guys helping me like yourself, lll Green, Fanu, Tutor and a few others. Good fun convos with others like Certified Beatz, Cockdiesel, Icepulse and others. I haven't been here lately getting music done for the first quarter and come back to this.
