I can't prove it, but I'd find that hard to believe. That'd be a company suicide when the drives start to go. None of the Nukai MPCs boot from an internal drive.

For starters this is not an offical Akai site. You should go to their site and to support. Let them know the issue.
As for the Akai content you can go to your account and download the Vault and any other content that you need.
As far as your tracks you made, probably gone forever, unless you get a computer forensic specialist to see if they can salvage your deleted files.
I never save any tracks on the Live, l immediately bounce into stems and take ii to my main computer and make copies.
Peaceloekazz wrote:I don't know how this is possible:
yesterday evening I programmed a simple beat and shut down the MPC afterwards.
Today I start up my MPC LIVE, but now there's NOTHING left on my internal drive!!
All folders and projects I've made are lost! Even the factory content disappeared!!
There's nothing left that I can load into a new project, no drums, no instruments, no samples,...
What's wrong and please tell me this is something that can be fixed, otherwise I lost my whole live set and other projects...
I really need to know how this is possible. If it seems to be something random / unexpected bug / error, that means I can't rely on this 'LIVE' MPC Live at all... Damn I'm almost gonna regret this purchase...
THANKS for the help!!
Hope Akai will answer this time and won't wait for another 3 months...

The 'drive' is just a chip on the board. http://wiki.radxa.com/Rock2/som

For people who meet at the same time, if you don't know that you can recover before the data is overwritten, you may overwrite your data and make it unrecoverable. Therefore, once data is lost, stop using your computer and quickly find data recovery tools such as anyrecover software to recover them.
