You got me thinkin.......... I try to be understanding to some people that ask simple questions...... maybe they aren't that intelligent...... just because they're not that smart or maybe they're overwhelmed, it doesn't mean they don't deserve to play. BUT....... I don't know, I don't think it has to do with intelligence, it has to do with the love. My brother is not smart for example.... he's my best friend, love him to death, but yea, not much up there. Yet he has no problem workin his machines. Never even looked at a beat making forum. But he's passionate about it & does it because it's fun, because he loves it. When he wants to know how to do something he figures it out. When I first had a drum machine in front of me I was hooked. I just banged on the pads, what does this do? Twist a knob, what does this do? I read forums & manuals when at work, soaking up as much knowledge as I could because I love it. I enjoy learning about it.
If you're doin this because you love it..... because you're passionate about it...... you don't mind doin some research because you WANT to know. Not because you HAVE to know in order to make a dope beat.
I could be wrong..... any stupid mutha *&^% out there can correct me if I am
