Also... I feel you on the confusion of this forum between new users, hobbyists, and professionals. There aren't *so* many places to go if you need help.
* get satisfaction... it's gone... and never went there myself... but cannot point anybody there
* reddit r/mpcusers is okay... but definitely skews towards new users and hobbyists
* gearsluts and muffwiggler both have decent forums, but they are so generic or so specific as to often be a wash

* mpc-forums... well we're here, and while I like the site, we are kind of a pretentious bunch from time to time. Plus the site has a great name... mpc-forums... it sounds official...
For me, the outcome I'd like to see is getting some more fresh blood over here, and we're sort of getting it. I'm all for helping the folks who're willing to help themself, try out stuff, and post back. Had enough of the "my MPC is broken cuz it doesn't sound like Dilla", but that's probably the type of post where I'm more likely to take the thread off the rails
