Forget about Akai help, they are just totally unprofessional, unorganized and unwilling to solve anything.

I recently had a mishap with my numark mixstream pro. i made a reply on their post on facebook and they got back to me within 8 hours telling me how to trigger dfu mode. they are helpful if you are clear in your descriptions and questioning. you need only say "help me ive bricked my unit, i think i need the system restoration images." on one of their facebook threads be it akai, nunark, denon etc. they're very interactive with people on facebook.
