This helps - thanks! That said, in your first video with the issue, you are trying to bounce a Keygroup called "0,000000-1", and in the second video where it works fine you are trying to bounce a Drum Program called "New Sample".

Can you save the Keygroup called "0,000000-1" and open it in 2.11.4 and see if it bounces fine? Can you bounce any other Keygroups in 2.11.6?

There was no rule as to whether I was trying to convert a sequence, track, keygroup, plugin, or program to a sample. The name was irrelevant. Just bounce to sample didn't work and only sporadically one attempt was successful (maybe 1 in 10).
I went back to version 2.11.4 and here the function always works.
I will never be a again in a hurry with the upgrade.

How do you go back to a previous version please? I just got my mpc 61 so I am new to the group. Any help would be appreciated. I am experiencing the problem of bouncing tracks to audio or sample. Thank you in advance.
