Thanks, but I tried that, it didnt work either.
I suppose its because the new FX dont appear in my Akai-account either.

Have you contacted akai support yet?

No, but youre right, that should be my next step. Is the Akai support good/fast?

Seconded, this works.

Are you connected to the internet on your One?
Obviously stupid question but unclear from your description .

I installed on both my X and my Live 2 and both say nothing about the new plug-in's I tried refreshing I tried a WiFi, Physical internet connection (Ethernet on the Live2 and a USB Ethernet Adapter on the X) . I installed it 2x on both machines. Everything works fine on the PC.

Guess if I leave it alone it will fix itself someday.

Case in point.... I Bought air delay pro when it came out months ago. Worked fine on PC would not work on standalone.
Had a ticket with Akai took em about 2 months to get to me. We went back and forth a few days on email they closed my ticket... and it still didn't work.

Bonus with this 2.12.2 update the Delay pro Plug in I bought Months and Months ago finally works in standalone!!

Cool I guess when 3.0 comes out I'll get these new plugins working.

Just wanted to chime in . . . I was having the same issue on my MPC Live 2. I downloaded the firmware update on my computer and installed it via USB. The new plugins weren't showing up. I tried refreshing, then restarting, then turned wifi on and refreshed again. At first I thought nothing happened, but after a few minutes sitting idle, the plugins showed up. A similar thing happened when I bought the OPX4 plugin. It took a while to show up, but after a reboot and some time had passed, it eventually did. MPC is a funny thing, buggy as hell and yet I'm still able to consistently use it on a daily basis with no real notable issues (yet). But there are definitely some bugs

Same issue after update no new plugins showing up (MPC One + Very long Ethernet cable).

Tried the unplug and restart routine and they showed up. Maybe it helps someone:

1. Switch off
2. Disconnect Ethernet
3. Switch on
4. Reconnect Ethernet
5. Check in the Preferences and the Plugins showed up (now make sure to download to a memory card - change storage location at bottom of screen if needed)

is that so?
-i mean, previously (<2.09 orso) you had to install a separate folder with all plugins and sounds for these plugins
will the USB upgrade/update include all and every content ?

what was the FW before your upgrade?

At the end of the manual it details what efx where included in what firmware versions.

Plugin instructions are included with each download in pdf format.

You can also use usb controller mode and use the synth content manager to manage things.

have had the same issue and nothing mentioned so far helped, so here's my personal how-to in brief notes to keep it less cluttered:

    1. i successfully installed FW 2.12.3 via online the other day, so internet connectivity seems to be fine
    2. on ACTIVE PLUGINS page, the four new plugs are not listed
    3. tried everything back and forth to no avail
    4. over here, MPC is getting IP/DNS data by a PiHole, which also acts as a DHCP Server
    5. in PREFERENCES => ETHERNET i changed ADRESS METHOD from automatic to manual and changed DNS (ipv4) to that of my actual gateway, instead of PiHole adress.
    6. checking ACTIVE PLUGINS page: fx plugs still missing
    7. rebooting MPC and checking again: <happy face>

conclusion: make sure your internet configuration, especially DNS, is configured in the most direct way possible. maybe also try to make a hotspot with your smartphone to get a totally "fresh" connection to the net (incase your MPC has wifi, that is). If everything fails, take it to a friend's / neighbour / dad's house in order to simply hook it up there for the process.
