what if you want to combine ideas from multiple projects into one?? you can't load a project into an already existing project... so like, that's the point. it seems to be completely mental.

OK I get what you're saying. Don't know about the current MPCs, but on the 1k/2500 with JJOS you could save individual sequences. I'm on the Force now & it let's you save tracks & all clips which can loaded into other Projects. It gotta be some way the current MPCs can do that, if not... :WTF: :Sigh:

if someone wants to just import some sequences from another project...

I still dont understand why this is so necessary. We all have different workflows I suspect but don't see how this would be a requirement to your everyday process but...

Also you can load separate sequences. You just need to load the programs too

well yes it's not really part of the 'everyday process' , but i have a lot of complex projects that have built up over time.. I imagine akai was just expecting people to bounce samples and make a new project out of that, but that's more commitment than I generally want..

i guess you do just have to do it piecemeal, loading everything individually and writing down what parts you need from what project..
it just feels very.. old. i've been looking at the squarp hapax, which can load 2 separate projects at once..
